"Discovery-2" is a small, portable spirometer with user-friendly features normally found in large, office-based PFT equipment.

Its easy-to-read LCD monitor displays tests in real time, allowing you to monitor patient performance and have immediate results. FVC, VC and MVV tests can be reviewed on screen, printed internally or transferred to an external printer. Discovery stores hundreds of records.

Discovery now provides a new data management software for interfacing it to a PC. The Windows-based software lets you review patient records, compare various tests, and transfer data to other programs using ASCII, LOTUS or EXCEL formats. Discovery is all-inclusive and does not require a base station. It meets or exceeds ATS, OSHA, SSD and ERS standards for spirometry.
