We simply guarantee your complete satisfaction.
That means we will do the RIGHT THING, whatever is necessary to make you happy!
Limited Warranty (Hardware)
Some of the products offered by VacuMed are manufactured by or for us, others are simply re-sold by us. For most products, the warranty period is one year. For all items re-sold by us the original manufacturer's warranty shall apply.
Limited Warranty (Software)
Software warranties supplied on request.
What Is Covered:
Defective parts will be replaced or repaired. You will not be charged for the labor required to replace of repair defective parts during the warranty period.
For How Long:
In some cases the labor warranty coverage is shorter than the parts warranty. The warranty period starts on the date of shipment. No warranty claims will be honored after expiration of the warranty period.
What We Will Do:
We will repair or replace all defective parts during the warranty period. We will pay for the labor required if the repair or replacement occurs during the labor warranty period. We will pay for shipping charges of repaired or replaced parts shipped to you.
What We Will Not Do:
1. We will not pay for incidental, special or consequential damages.
2. Pay for lost parts, damages due to Acts of God, accidents, abuse, misuse or misapplication.
3. Pay for damages resulting from alteration or modification of products that were done without our permission.
What You Must Do:
Follow the Claims and Returns Policy below promptly and precisely. Contact us or our authorized dealer or representative immediately. If we determine that the warranty service must be performed at our facility,
then you must ship the defective component or instrument to us, freight pre-paid and fully insured.
State Law Rights:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Claims and Returns Policy
Do not sign a freight receipt without inspecting the shipment.
If the box or container appears damaged, write
"DAMAGED CONTAINER MAY INDICATE CONCEALED DAMAGE"
on receipt as you sign it and have delivery person countersign.
Keep receipt. You must notify the freight carrier within 72 hours with a report of damaged goods.
Keep all packing material, the carrier will want to inspect it. All shortages must be reported to Vacumetrics/Vacumed within 5 working days.
You must call or write us for a Return Authorization Number (RAN). All shipments not having this number prominently displayed may be refused by us. Goods must be returned with freight prepaid and insured for the full value.
Goods should be returned using the lowest reasonable freight method, do not use air-freight unless we request it or you plan to pay for it.
Goods can only be accepted for credit or exchange if you return them within 30 days of our invoice date.
Please provide detailed reason for return and tell us what you want us to do.
The following items will not be accepted for return:
Items specially modified or designed for the customer, opened chemicals, items that were used by patients, "sale" items.
Restocking Fee & Future Credits
Unless an item was specifically ordered for evaluation, or is returned due to our fault, we will charge a 20% restocking charge with a minimum charge of $15.00, plus any charges for missing items, repairs of repackaging.
Customers may take a 10% discount (But not exceeding the actual restocking fee paid) on orders placed within 12 month of incurring any restocking fee (Excluding charges for repair of missing items) until the restocking fee is repaid to the customer.
Example: You paid a $20 restocking fee. Then you place an order for $100.
You may take a 10% discount of $10. You now have another $10 credit that you may use for another order.
